Actress Kong Hyun-joo has been picked the most anticipated Hallyu Star for 2011 on China's biggest video portal site Youku.com, revealed her agency TOVIS Entertainment through a press release on Friday. Accordingly, Youku.com, the Chinese equivalent of YouTube, invited Kong to make a guest appearance on the site’s representative talk show aired on June 15.On the show, Kong talked about various incidents related to her previous drama “You Are My Destiny” (KBS, 2009) in which she played a rival to her co-star Yoona of Girls’ Generation and also on her activities as florist and a CEO of fashion brand "Style Joos.""You Are My Destiny," which has been shown in Hong Kong and Japan, is also being aired in several regions in China.Kong, 27, has played supporting roles to numerous major dramas including “All In” (SBS, 2003), “Wedding” (KBS, 2005) and “The Golden Bride” (SBS, 2007) as well as hosting talk shows “A woman who reads you a magazine” (2006), "Special V” (2010) and “Food Essay” (2011).
