A Korean historical film starring actor Ju Ji-hoon as a king has cranked up last week, according to the pic's production company, Lotte Entertainment.
The firm said in a statement on Wednesday "I am the King" (translated title) wrapped up its three months of filming in the Northern Province of South Korea last Thursday and has gone into post-production stage.
The firm explained that casts and crews celebrated the final day of shooting with a party, where director Jang Kyu-sang thanked and hugged all the staff members for their hard work.
Ju plays a double role in the film that portrays one of the major figures in Korean history. He switches back and forth between playing King Sejong, who created the written language of Korean, and a beggar that later disguises himself as the king.
