KB Kookmin Card to Hold October Culture Day at APEC Host City Gyeongju

Spend Over 10,000 Won at Gyeongju Cultural Venues

KB Kookmin Card, in collaboration with the Regional Culture Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will expand public participation in "Culture Day" and support the revitalization of local cultural consumption.

On October 17, KB Kookmin Card announced that, from October 20 to November 2, it will hold the event "October Culture Day at APEC Host City Gyeongju" in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, where the 33rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit will be held. During this event, customers will receive cultural support funds.

During the event period, 2,000 customers who make purchases of 10,000 won or more with a KB Kookmin Card at over 300 cultural facilities in Gyeongju, including cinemas, performance venues, and exhibition halls, will be selected by lottery to receive a 10,000 won cashback.

The benefits of Culture Day, which were previously offered only on the last Wednesday of each month and during that week, will be expanded with a focus on Gyeongju. The aim is to encourage the use of local cultural facilities and promote cultural consumption.

A KB Kookmin Card representative said, "We hope that people will visit Gyeongju, where the APEC Summit is being held, enjoy the culture, and newly discover the charms of the region," adding, "We also hope that this event will not only expand local cultural consumption but also help revitalize the local economy."
