Wins at IDEA in the US, Red Dot and iF in Germany
Samsung Card announced on September 29 that its "Eco Package" has won the Bronze Award at the "IDEA Design Award 2025," hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
The company also swept the world's top three design awards this year by winning the industry's first Grand Prize at the "Red Dot Design Award 2025" in Germany and the main prize at the "iF Design Award 2025."
The Eco Package is an eco-friendly card package made by recycling discarded paper resources such as product brochures, terms and conditions, and general waste paper provided during card issuance.
It was designed to securely store cards and other items without the use of adhesives. By applying pressure to the paper surface, it expresses three-dimensional text and images without printing or coating.
A Samsung Card representative stated, "We are honored to have received awards from all three of the world's top design awards this year, recognizing the quality of our design that considers the environment," adding, "We will continue to promote environmentally conscious design in the future."
