Donald Trump, President of the United States, has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency following a comprehensive medical examination. Recently, frequent bruising on his hands and arms has been observed at official events, leading to speculation in some circles about his health. In response, the White House dismissed these concerns, stating, "(Venous insufficiency) is a common condition in people in their seventies, and bruising on the back of the hands is a well-known side effect of aspirin."

On July 17 (local time), White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt addressed the issue during a briefing. Chronic venous insufficiency is a condition in which blood pools in the legs because of dysfunction in the inner walls or valves of the leg veins, preventing proper circulation from the legs to the heart.

Leavitt emphasized, "It is not dangerous and is a common condition, especially among people over the age of 70," dismissing rumors about the President's health. Regarding the bruises observed on the backs of his hands in recent photographs, she explained, "The soft tissue has been irritated due to frequent handshakes and aspirin use." She added that the President takes aspirin as a preventive measure against cardiovascular disease, and that this symptom is a well-known side effect of aspirin.

She stated, "The President's health is excellent," and added, "As you all see every day, he works tirelessly day and night."

Meanwhile, in addition to the bruises on his hands, a video of President Trump limping as he gets out of a golf cart at a golf course has gone viral on social media. Online users commented, "It seems his leg muscles have weakened," and "He looks like he is struggling to get out of the golf cart."

In response, Arun Gray, a British sports medicine scientist and injury rehabilitation specialist, said in an interview with the Daily Mail, "President Trump appears to show signs of both knees bending inward," and analyzed, "Given President Trump's tall stature, there is a possibility that he is experiencing knee-related symptoms due to genu valgum. Genu valgum is commonly seen in tall individuals or those with weak gluteal muscles. It can increase stress on the inner knee, raise the risk of arthritis, or cause back pain."
