Including Cashback and Interest-Free Installments
Samsung Card stated that it is running the Shinsegae Card 'Birthday Week' event until June 29 to celebrate the 56th anniversary of the launch of the Shinsegae Card.
Customers who spend at least 2 million won at Shinsegae Department Store luxury, fashion, or accessories stores will receive Shinsegae Rewards worth up to 7% (equivalent to 3.5 million won). Shinsegae Rewards are points that can be used like cash at Shinsegae Department Store and can be easily accumulated through the Shinsegae Department Store app. Shinhan Card, Hana Card, and BC Card are also offering the same benefits.
A cashback event is also being held. Until June 22, Samsung Card will provide a 20,000 won cashback for payments of 1 million won or more. Shinhan Card, Hana Card, and BC Card are also providing the same benefit.
Interest-free installment benefits are also available. Until June 30, Samsung Card offers up to five months of interest-free installments for purchases of 50,000 won or more. Shinhan Card also provides five months of interest-free installments. Hana Card offers up to six months of interest-free installments for single transactions of 1 million won or more. BC Card provides up to 12 months of interest-free installments.
A Samsung Card representative stated, "We plan to continue introducing events that can satisfy the diverse preferences of our customers."
A Hana Card representative said, "Next month, we will launch a new card specializing in overseas travel services with enhanced Shinsegae Department Store benefits," adding, "We will continue to introduce new products and hold events featuring Shinsegae Department Store benefits in the second half of the year."
Lee Sunghwan, Executive Director at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "Shinsegae Card Birthday Week is an event specially planned at the end of the first half of the year in collaboration with five partner card companies," and added, "We will continue to hold events with our partner card companies in the second half of the year as well."
