All-Out Search Efforts by Daegu and Sejong Police Agencies
Recently, after it was confirmed that the stalking murder suspect from Daegu got out of a taxi in a mountain area in Bugang-myeon, Sejong City while fleeing, Sejong City has requested that residents refrain from entering the mountains.
According to Sejong City on June 12, the suspect, a woman in her 50s who committed a murder at an apartment in Dalseo-gu, Daegu at around 3:30 a.m. on June 10, was found to have taken a taxi and gotten out in a mountain area in Bugang-myeon, Sejong City on the same day.
Currently, the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency, the Sejong Metropolitan Police Agency, the Northern Police Station, and the Southern Police Station are working together, mobilizing drones, search dogs, and riot police to conduct an all-out search.
An official from the city said, "For the time being, please refrain from entering the mountains, going out, and visiting places where there are few people," and added, "If you see anyone suspicious or notice any suspicious behavior, please report it immediately by calling 112."
