POSCO E&C Unveils High-End Finishes at Yongsan Maintenance Depot

POSCO E&C, which participated in the bidding for Section 1 of the Yongsan Maintenance Depot redevelopment project in Seoul, has officially opened the 'Otiere Yongsan' showroom, allowing association members to directly experience the standards of a luxury high-end residential complex.

This showroom is characterized by being more than just a display space; it has been designed so that visitors can "experience exactly the products proposed by POSCO E&C" in person. In particular, Germany's top window brand Sch?co and the premium Nordic lighting brand VERPAN have been actually installed, enabling association members to see and feel for themselves what a truly luxurious residential space is like even before moving in.

The key to premium views lies in the windows. For the first time in an urban redevelopment project, POSCO E&C has applied Sch?co's two-part wide & Vista frame windows, significantly expanding the view of the Han River compared to the conventional thick three-part windows.

In addition, by using windows that are 0.2 meters taller than those of competitors, POSCO E&C has gone beyond maximizing the Han River view to offer a premium residential lifestyle that feels like 'owning' the river. Sch?co windows, which have only been used in the most prestigious complexes such as 'Eterno Cheongdam' and 'Warner Cheongdam,' are world-renowned luxury products that redefine the standards of high-end living with their outstanding insulation and airtightness.

Some association members had previously wondered what exactly constitutes 'premium windows,' but at this showroom, they can directly see the 'depth of the Han River view' and the 'expansion of perspective' through the Sch?co windows installed in the actual living room.

The lighting also fully reflects POSCO E&C's 'Otiere' philosophy. The lighting used at the info desk and in the living room are creations of VERPAN, inheriting the spirit of Danish design legend Verner Panton, infusing the entire space with refined Nordic sensibility. These are not just lights, but lifestyle elements that illuminate the daily lives of association members with sophistication.

In addition, according to company representatives, members can also experience top-tier luxury finishes that are provided as special items, such as Italian kitchen furniture by Euromobil, European hardwood flooring by Balinec, and integrated hood induction cooktops.

A POSCO E&C representative stated, "The 'Otiere Yongsan' showroom is not simply a space for displaying building materials, but a place that sets the standard for high-quality residential complexes befitting the heart of Seoul, Yongsan, and allows future residents to experience it firsthand." The representative added, "By being the first in urban redevelopment to showcase 2.4-meter Sch?co windows and VERPAN lighting, POSCO E&C is demonstrating its commitment to realizing a 'representative high-end residential complex in Seoul.'"
