One in Three Excellent Certified Insurance Planners Is from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on June 12, 2025, that it has produced 5,197 recipients of the Excellent Certified Insurance Planner designation this year.

One out of every three Excellent Certified Insurance Planners in the non-life insurance industry is affiliated with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, making it the company with the largest number of such planners in the industry. The Excellent Certified Insurance Planner system was introduced in 2008 to encourage insurance planners to enhance their expertise, ensure the complete sale of insurance products, and establish a sound recruitment order.

To be selected as an Excellent Certified Insurance Planner, one must have worked consistently at a single company for at least three years and demonstrated outstanding insurance recruitment performance. Additionally, the persistency rates for the 13th and 25th months of recruited insurance contracts must be at least 90% and 80%, respectively, and there must not be a single case of incomplete sales.
