Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 21st that its University Job Plus Center will be operating a customized career and employment support program for each department, starting with the Department of Fashion Jewelry Design.
The department-specific career and employment support program consists of: ▲Career Exploration (University Job Plus Center employment briefing session) ▲Self-Development (special lectures to enhance basic vocational skills for career and employment support) ▲Practical Skills (special lectures on employment preparation strategies and career paths by major, including inviting current professionals) ▲Job Search Support (special lectures on resume writing and interview preparation strategies).
This program is operated on a first-come, first-served basis within the maximum support budget for each department, so early closure is possible and active interest is encouraged.
Shin Chunwoo, head of the University Job Plus Center, said, "I hope that Gwangju University students will strengthen their employment competencies and boost their motivation for employment through department-specific programs such as mentoring by professionals and exploring career paths."
