'Jangbogoujang' is a community group formed through voluntary participation of residents to share in the joys and sorrows of the local community and to promote the ecological, local, and sharing-oriented values of Wando County. Started in August 2015 by about 20 residents with the idea of 'smiling while shopping at the market,' Jangbogoujang now has around 90 active members.

'Ujang' holds a 'market' on the fourth Saturday of every month to facilitate communication between sellers and consumers in a shared space. The market offers a variety of foods and attractions, including free children's experiences using scrap paper, recycling of banner bags, discounts for using tumblers, local specialty foods, youth cultural performances, and handicraft exhibitions, all aimed at realizing ecological values.

In addition, every December, the 'Santa Operation Event' is held to practice donation and neighborly love, earning positive feedback as a messenger of happiness to local residents.

Kim Youngshin, the leader of Ujang, said, "As part of the mourning for the Muan Air accident, we have decided to suspend this month's market. We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families."

He added, "Wando County, which belongs to a rural area facing a serious population decline, is striving to overcome its challenging environment and restore its economic and cultural spaces. We ask for continued participation and encouragement so that 'Jangbogoujang' can remain a true platform for communication with local residents."
