Revised Incorporating Feedback from On-Site Support Activities Such as Consulting
Expected to Provide Practical Help with Basic Concepts and Real-World Application Cases
On the 30th, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will distribute the revised "Contract Practice Manual" to schools to establish a fair contract culture and support school administrative tasks.
The Busan Office of Education publishes the "Contract Practice Manual" every two years to update relevant laws and regulations and apply changes in the contracting environment to practical work, aiming to enhance fairness and reliability in contracts.
This revised edition reflects the opinions of individual school administrative staff gathered through various consulting activities conducted by the Office of Education's Finance Division, making it practically helpful for carrying out contract tasks.
The Office of Education has supported contract work on-site through various online and offline activities such as operating Contract 119 and Contract Cool Line, creating group chat rooms, on-site consulting visits, and contract agency services.
The collected opinions were discussed and debated by the contract study group and incorporated into the revised edition, which consists of six chapters: ▲General Contracts ▲Construction Contracts ▲Goods Contracts ▲Service Contracts ▲Other Matters ▲Q&A Cases.
This manual, which has undergone multiple verifications, does not simply list related laws and guidelines but includes everything from basic concepts to practical application cases, making it easy and convenient to use and expected to greatly assist contract work in schools.
Oh Jin-hee, head of the Finance Division at the Busan Office of Education, said, "This revised edition of the Contract Practice Manual will greatly help improve the professionalism of school contract administrators," adding, "It will also contribute to securing fairness and transparency in task execution and raising contract integrity."
