It has been confirmed that actor Lee Si-young (42)'s son is attending Chadwick International School, known as a "prestigious school."

On the 21st, Lee Si-young posted several daily life photos featuring herself and her 6-year-old son on her social media (SNS). What caught attention in the photos was the name of the school engraved on her son's backpack. The school her son attends is known to be Chadwick International School located in Songdo, Incheon. It is considered one of the most expensive schools in Korea, with tuition fees reaching up to 700 million KRW purely for tuition from kindergarten through high school. Recently, broadcaster Hyun Young caused a stir by stating that she spends 100 million KRW annually just on tuition for her two children attending this school, with a total cost of 1.2 billion KRW until graduation.

The school does not require foreign residency as an admission condition, so domestic students can also enroll. Because of this, the admission competition is known to be extremely fierce. It is also famous for having many children of celebrities attending. In politics, Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, has a daughter who graduated from this school. In the entertainment industry, actor Jun Ji-hyun and broadcaster Hyun Young's children are reported to be enrolled here. All classes at this school are conducted in English, making it advantageous for preparing for admission to prestigious overseas universities. Every year, many students from this school are accepted into world-renowned universities such as the University of Oxford in the UK, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Boston University in the US.
