Wins Prize for Second Consecutive Year as Changwon City Representatives

Changwon Facilities Corporation from Gyeongnam participated as the representative of Changwon City at the "13th National CPR Competition for the General Public" held at the Government Sejong Convention Center and received the Korean Red Cross President's Award.

With the award received on the 30th, the corporation achieved the remarkable feat of winning for the second consecutive year, following last year's success.

This competition has been held annually since 2012 to raise awareness of the importance of first aid for cardiac arrest patients and to increase the implementation rate of CPR.

Four employees?Hwang Hyeran (Changwon Indoor Swimming Pool), An Minjeong (Changwon Football Center), Jeong Seokmin (Changwon Indoor Swimming Pool), and Kang Yujin (Changwon Indoor Swimming Pool)?participated in the competition as a team named "SetiintheCity."

Among a total of 19 teams representing cities and provinces, the "SetiintheCity" team received positive reviews for their engaging story and performance demonstrating CPR and automated external defibrillator usage.

Previously, in April, the "SetiintheCity" team won the grand prize at the "Regional CPR Competition" held by the Changwon Fire Headquarters, earning the right to participate in the national competition.

Hwang Hyeran stated, "Based on the results of this award, we will actively respond to protect the lives and safety of citizens in any emergency situation."
