Korean actor Park Si-hoo and Jung Jae-young’s upcoming movie has confirmed its local release date.
The movie’s distribution company Showbox said in a press release Monday that the new action thriller, “Confession of Murder,” is set to open in two months' time.
Heating up the expectations of moviegoers, the firm also unleashed teaser photos of the two actors depicting each character's emotions in the movie.
The crime pic shows the intense conflict between a serial killer named Lee Du-seok [played by Park] who shot to stardom with his crime-confession novel, and a detective named Choi Hyung-goo [played by Jung] who would do anything to put Lee in Jail.
Inspired by 2003 hit thriller “Memories of Murder,” director Jung Byung-gil of action pic “Action Boys” (2008) is wielding the megaphone in Park’s big screen debut pic.
