K-pop group Girls' Generation's new trio unit has opened up about their coming album, "TWINKLE."

On Friday, SM Entertainment released spoilers of Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun's upcoming release, which is due out on May 2, with descriptions of five songs off the 7-track set.

While the album's title track is to be available through music distribution websites at midnight on April 29, and the other six at midnight on April 30, the firm provided a sneak peek of the album, saying that it includes songs that are influenced by various genres like electronic-retro pop and R&B.

Starting with the title track, "Twinkle," SM described the song as a Stevie Wonder-reminiscent tune from '70s and '80s, a great mixture of the funky soul and dance music genres.

"Twinkle" will deliver "outspoken lyrics and talented vocals of the three," the officials added.

In addition, "Baby Steps," an R&B style music that also features a genre-mangling sound, is about a young woman trying to get closer to someone she loves, according to SM.

"OMG(Oh My God)" is the collaborated sound of eletronic-retro pop, "Love Sick" describes a girl with her first crush and last to be revealed, "Good-bye, Hello" is a break-up song with a shuffle beat.

While the last teaser clip of the three-members' new promotion, featuring Seohyun, is being unveiled today, the girls are scheduled to stage their first performance of the album on Mnet's "M!CountDown" on May 3.
