American rock band MGMT will hold a fan meeting in Korea along with their concert next month, according to the show's organizer VU Entertainment on Friday.
VU announced in a press release that MGMT will meet and greet their Korean fans on April 1 which is also the day of their first-ever concert in the country set at promoting their second full-length album "Congratulations."
MGMT -- composed of members Benjamin Goldwasser, Andrew VanWyngarden, Matthew Asti, James Richardson and Will Berman -- rose to fame with the release of their debut album "Oracular Spectacular" in 2007.
They were nominated for the 2010 Grammy Award for Best New Artists and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
The group is also well-known for participating in various soundtracks for TV shows such as "Skins," "90210," "Gossip Girl," "The Vampire Diaries," Saturday Night Live" and "Late Show with David Letterman."
