Korean actress Kim Yun-jin's new film "Harmony" is scheduled to open on January 28, according to the film's producer JK Film.

"Harmony", which stars Kim and veteran actress Na Mun-hee, is about a group of female inmates who form a choir inside a prison. Kim plays a mother who has to give up her baby for adoption while Na portrays the death-row inmate who becomes the conductor of the prison choir.

The film's supporting cast includes actors Kang Ye-won ("Haeundae", "Miracle on 1st Street"), Jung Soo-young ("Fantastic Couple", "Queen of Housewives") and Park Joon-myeon ("Mission Possible: Kidnapping Granny K").

Kim rose to fame after starring in the 1999 movie "Shiri" alongside top Korean actors including Han Suk-kyu and Choi Min-sik. She had appeared in several television dramas and movies before she left for Hollywood in 2004 after being cast in the hit TV series "Lost".

"Harmony", which opens in January, is produced by filmmaker Yoon Je-kyun who directed summer blockbuster "Haeundae".
