Mariah Carey to hold live fan meeting in Seoul

Pop diva Mariah Carey will hold a live fan meeting during her visit to Korea, according to MTV Korea.

The fan meeting, which will be held October 14 at Seoul MTV Studios and aired live on www.mtv.co.kr, will be hosted by Alex of Korean band Clazziquai, MTV said on its official website.

The pop singer will sing songs from her new album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" and meet with 130 fans. The fan meeting will be broadcast again on "MTV The Stage Special".

Universal Music Group had said she would visit Korea in October for the first time in six years to promote "Angel" through various events including a press conference, an autograph session and fan meeting.

The 39-year-old singer is one of the most successful artists in pop history with 18 No.1 hits on The Billboard and 200 million sales in albums worldwide. She released her 12th studio album "Memoirs" on September 28.
