Is There a "Hot Place" at the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority?

Emerging as a Global Benchmarking and Corporate Training Hub:
BJFEZ Vision Hall Attracts Worldwide Attention
Chosen as a Venue for Training by Domestic and International Universities and Companies
Hands-on Policy Education and Investment Environment Experience

The BJFEZ Vision Hall, a promotional center operated by the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Park Seongho), is emerging as a "hot place" among domestic and international public institutions and companies.

In the first half of this year, the center has attracted a series of visits from major domestic and international organizations and companies, drawing attention as a space where investment benchmarking, policy training, and on-site education take place in a multifaceted manner.

According to the Authority, government and public institutions from more than ten countries, including the Delegation of the European Union (EU), the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (BVMID), the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Japan, the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), Hubei Province of China, and Taoyuan City of Taiwan, visited Vision Hall in the first half of the year. They reportedly benchmarked smart logistics, eco-friendly development strategies, and industrial complex operation models, while also exploring possibilities for cooperation.

Exchanges with global universities have also continued. Faculty members and graduate students from Florida International University (FIU), the University of Texas at Austin, and Minnesota State University Mankato visited the center, where they participated in on-site education focused on global investment attraction strategies based on the Triport location environment and industrial infrastructure.

The utilization of Vision Hall by domestic companies and institutions is also steadily expanding. Companies and organizations such as Taekwang Fujikin, the Korea Safety Technology Association, and the Korea Port Logistics Association are using Vision Hall as a venue for new employee training, business briefings, and practical education. Equipped with hybrid online and offline workspaces such as meeting rooms, a video theater, and a lounge, Vision Hall also serves as a site for field learning programs aimed at nurturing talent in collaboration with local universities and companies.

An official from the Authority stated, "The BJFEZ promotional center is evolving beyond a simple exhibition space into a complex platform where benchmarking, exchange, and education take place simultaneously," adding, "We will continue to expand connections with global institutions and companies and enhance our status as a logistics hub in Northeast Asia through smart administrative services."
