On the 2nd, after finishing a campaign event at DMC in Sangam, Mapo, Oh told reporters that the claims by some officials that he visited the site during the Naegok-dong land survey and then went to a restaurant were "not true." Meanwhile, a citizen who ran a restaurant in Naegok-dong confirmed in an interview on TBS’s program ‘Kim Eo-jun’s News Factory’ that "(Oh) came. I remember."
Earlier, Mr. A and his son Mr. B, who ran the ecological soup restaurant during the Naegok-dong land survey, said on a radio broadcast that "Oh is handsome, so we remember (him coming to the restaurant) more clearly." Mr. A said, "Mr. Kim, who was cultivating the land in Naegok-dong, came to the kitchen and said he was Representative Oh," adding, "He said he brought him along and asked us to take good care of him."
They even mentioned Oh’s attire at the time to enhance the credibility of their statements. Mr. B said, "He wore white cotton pants and casual loafers, which were very stylish shoes," adding, "The brand was Ferragamo."
Meanwhile, Oh’s eldest brother-in-law, Mr. C, who was reported to have attended the survey, was claimed to have been at a graduate school in another region. KBS released photos the day before showing Mr. C attending the MBA graduation ceremony for hospital management at Kyung Hee Medical Center. Oh has maintained the claim that it was Mr. C, not himself, who attended the survey.
