NongHyup Bank Implements 12.6 Trillion Won in Preferential Financial Support
Kang Taeyoung, President of NH NongHyup Bank, received the Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit at the 30th Small and Medium Venture Business Financial Support Awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 19th. Employees in charge of corporate support were also honored with commendations from the Minister of SMEs and Startups and the Minister of Economy and Finance.
NongHyup Bank has implemented preferential financial support totaling 12.6 trillion won for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners. The bank has actively participated in government policy finance programs, including 801.3 billion won in government conversion guarantees and 50.5 billion won in refinancing loans, thereby contributing to improved funding conditions. In particular, its financial support, which focuses on easing repayment burdens amid high exchange rates, has received positive feedback on the ground.
The bank has provided voluntary interest refunds to 320,000 customers, totaling 216.9 billion won, supported 80 global small giants with 137 billion won, and offered preferential fees amounting to 500 million dollars to boost SME exports, thereby strengthening the growth foundation for small and medium-sized enterprises. Through these efforts, NongHyup Bank has established a structure that not only alleviates short-term funding burdens but also supports the enhancement of mid- to long-term competitiveness.
