Baekmidang announced on December 15 that it has launched six new winter seasonal menu items featuring Yeongam sweet potatoes, a specialty product of Yeongam County in South Jeolla Province. This menu was developed as part of a regional coexistence business agreement (MOU) signed with Yeongam County in November, and is part of Baekmidang's ongoing efforts to enhance local value.

The new products include: ▲ Honey Sweet Potato Latte ▲ Honey Sweet Potato Ginger Cream Latte ▲ Honey Sweet Potato Ice Cream ▲ Four varieties of Honey Sweet Potato Dessert Cups, as well as two bakery-exclusive items: ▲ Honey Sweet Potato Fresh Cream Salt Bread ▲ Honey Sweet Potato Coconut Salt Bread. By combining the flavor of Yeongam sweet potatoes with Baekmidang's premium coffee and organic milk, the brand has created a warm and smooth taste perfect for winter. Except for the two bakery menu items, the new menu is available at Baekmidang locations nationwide.

To celebrate the launch, Baekmidang is holding a consumer-participation SNS event until December 31. Customers who follow Baekmidang's official Instagram account and leave a comment on the event post about which Honey Sweet Potato menu item they would like to try will be automatically entered into a drawing. Ten winners will be selected to receive Baekmidang gift certificates.

Since its founding in 2014, Baekmidang has maintained a philosophy of coexistence by reinterpreting local specialties into modern menu items, collaborating with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments nationwide to introduce a variety of local menus. This year, the company has continued to expand its regional coexistence model by launching specialty-based menu items such as the Yeoncheon Black Adzuki Latte from Gyeonggi Province and the Yogurt Smoothie with Jeongseon Blueberries from Gangwon Province.
