At 7 p.m. on December 2, during the "2025 Year-End Night of the Goyang Special City Badminton Association" held at the Cheonnyeon Convention Wedding Hall in Deogyang-gu, Goyang City, Hwang Byungman, president of the Goyang Special City Badminton Association, presented the plaque to Chairman Kim Unnam.

The event was attended by executives and members of the Goyang Special City Badminton Association, Goyang City Council members, and other stakeholders, who gathered to celebrate the conclusion of the year for the city's badminton enthusiasts.

The plaque recognized Chairman Kim's policy support for promoting grassroots sports, his legislative efforts to expand sports infrastructure, and his dedication to creating an environment where both club members and citizens can enjoy badminton together. In particular, he was highly praised for actively reflecting the opinions of sports organizations in municipal affairs, frequently visiting grassroots sports sites, and listening to the concerns of the community.
