NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters to Rebuild Office Building ... Temporary Office to Operate from the 15th

NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters will rebuild its existing office building located in Sinwol-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon City.


Starting from December 15, the Gyeongnam Headquarters will operate a temporary office at 9-5, Yongdong-ro 57beon-gil, Uichang-gu, Changwon City, until the construction of the new headquarters is completed.


The current Gyeongnam Headquarters building, constructed in 1984, has faced challenges such as insufficient workspace and parking, aging facilities and environment, and the absence of elevators.

The new headquarters will be built on the current 12,563-square-meter site, with a total floor area of 17,544 square meters, consisting of five floors above ground and one basement level.


The total project cost, including expenses for operating the temporary office, is expected to amount to approximately 76.4 billion won.


Through this project, the headquarters aims to strengthen its financial support functions focused on local residents, promote local food initiatives, innovate workspaces to respond to the digital financial environment, and improve employee welfare and working conditions.


The new headquarters is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2028.


Cho Cheongrae, Head of the Headquarters, stated, "The construction of the new headquarters is a modernization project aimed at enhancing convenience and accessibility for local residents, providing better financial services, and offering a wider variety of local agricultural products." He added, "Through this, I am confident that we will be able to contribute even more to agriculture, rural communities, and the local society."


He further emphasized, "Even during the temporary relocation period, we will fulfill our role as the region's leading financial institution."
