Promoting ESG Management and Supporting Emerging Artists
Hana Card announced on December 3 that it successfully held the award ceremony for the '3rd Hana Card Plate Design Contest' at the Playground in Hana Financial Group's Myeongdong Building, Jung-gu, Seoul, on November 27.

The contest ran from September 3 to October 19. As part of Hana Financial Group's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management initiatives, the contest aims to discover and support emerging artists and provide creative talents with an opportunity to showcase their unique sensibilities.
A total of 667 entries were submitted to the contest. The evaluation process included employee surveys, product manager assessments, and professional reviews by the design department. Based on criteria such as originality, trendiness, practicality, suitability, and completeness, 17 works were ultimately selected as winners.
The winners received prize money as follows: one first prize winner (5 million won), two second prize winners (2 million won each), four third prize winners (1 million won each), and ten fourth prize teams (500,000 won each).
The grand prize was awarded to artist Hong Seoyoung for the work 'CITY IN MY HAND, Hana.'
The winning works can be viewed on the Hana Card website, the Hana Pay application, and Hana Card's official social networking services (SNS).
A Hana Card representative stated, "Through this contest, we were able to witness the innovative and trendy sensibilities of emerging artists," adding, "We will continue to collaborate with experts in various fields to present designs that reflect Hana Card's unique brand identity and trends."
