This training was organized with the goal of strengthening the practical skills of lifelong education stakeholders working in both the private and public sectors within the region. More than 20 participants, including practitioners from local lifelong education institutions and lifelong learning managers, attended the event.
On the day of the training, Park Sungmin, a professor at Baewha Women’s University, was invited to deliver a lecture on the topic of "Lifelong Learning Promotion and Marketing Strategies." The session shared various marketing techniques to effectively encourage learner participation and also offered a hands-on "target marketing" workshop, where participants segmented learners and designed programs that could be applied in the field.
An official from Yangju City stated, "We plan to continuously expand regular training sessions so that lifelong learning stakeholders can demonstrate greater expertise in the field. In particular, we will provide education on a variety of topics to help them proactively respond to the changing educational environment, thereby further strengthening the foundation for lifelong learning in the region."
