Samil PwC to Offer Integrated Startup Management Support Service Benefits

Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on the 28th that it has signed a 'Startup Nurturing Partnership' business agreement with Samil PwC.

This business agreement was planned as an extension of the Baemin Startup Square project, which is part of Baemin's 200 billion won social investment initiative, 'Baemin's Promise for Sustainability,' announced in March last year.

'Baemin Startup Square' is a 10-year long-term project led by Baemin to foster the startup ecosystem. It is a startup nurturing program that supports the growth and global expansion of early-stage entrepreneurs, young founders, and social innovators. Starting with the support agency agreement ceremony in July, the project is currently recruiting resident startups and is scheduled to officially open in January.

As part of this support program, Woowa Brothers will provide free workspace for resident startups at its new headquarters located in Pangyo Techno Valley 2, Seongnam. The company will also offer ecosystem building and incubation services, including entrepreneur training and business support, to help resident startups grow stably. In particular, Woowa Brothers plans to collaborate with specialized institutions to provide practical growth solutions such as technology and management capacity-building education and consulting.

Through this business agreement, Samil PwC will offer integrated management support services for startups residing in Baemin Startup Square as part of the partnership benefits. The integrated management support service is an online platform that provides essential management tasks such as corporate establishment, shareholder management, finance, and HR in one place. This helps startups address the lack of management personnel and expertise that they often face in the early stages of business.

In addition, Samil PwC will provide financial accounting consultations and training at least twice a year to resident companies in Baemin Startup Square through its specialized startup nurturing partners.

Lee Changhoon, Partner at Samil PwC, stated, "Samil PwC's Unicorn Support Center possesses integrated management support know-how and expertise necessary for every stage of a startup's journey, from inception to successful exit. Through this agreement, we will actively support promising startups to minimize complex management risks, maximize corporate value, and grow into future unicorns."

Kim Junghyun, Head of the Sustainability Management Center at Woowa Brothers, said, "Baemin Startup Square is more than just a physical space; it is a place that helps startups realize 'technological innovation that leads people and the world in a better direction.' Through this collaboration with Samil PwC, we aim to ease the financial and management burdens that entrepreneurs find most challenging, so they can focus solely on innovation and growth."
