Samyang Foods announced on November 27 that it will operate the Samyang1963 pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for seven days from November 28 to December 4.
This pop-up store, held to commemorate the launch of 'Samyang1963,' will be run under the concept of a 'premium ramen bar' to offer a brand experience where visitors can directly try the new product. Following the 'Steaming Samyang1963 Outdoor Advertising Campaign' previously held in Seongsu-dong, Samyang Foods plans to further strengthen its connection with key customer groups by consecutively introducing this pop-up store.
The Samyang1963 pop-up store will operate on a sequential entry system, requiring visitors to make a reservation in advance through Naver or on-site, to efficiently manage waiting times caused by ramen preparation. Visitors with advance reservations will be able to enjoy Samyang1963 as a complete meal in a tasting zone inside the pop-up store. After writing a tasting review, they will receive a 'Samyang1963 exclusive tumbler,' which is one of the pop-up store's goods.
On-site reservation visitors will be admitted in the order of their arrival and receive a prepared Samyang1963 served in an exclusive tumbler. After freely tasting it around the Seongsu-dong area, they can revisit the pop-up store to collect their cleaned exclusive tumbler. In addition, a social media authentication event will be held for visitors who have finished tasting, and those who participate will receive Samyang1963 products.
A representative from Samyang Foods stated, "Instead of flashy displays or performances, this pop-up store was designed to focus on the essence of ramen-noodles, broth, and the flavor of beef tallow unique to Samyang1963," adding, "We plan to introduce a wide range of diverse content to offer differentiated brand experiences in the future, so we hope for your continued interest."
