Busan Port Authority (BPA), led by President Song Sangkeun, received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation at the '2025 Win-Win Growth Week Commemorative Ceremony,' which was hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by the Win-Win Growth Committee and the Foundation for Large, Small, and Medium Business and Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation.

The '2025 Win-Win Growth Week Commemorative Ceremony' is an annual event held to raise public understanding and interest in win-win growth. This year's ceremony took place on the 25th at the Korea Federation of SMEs in Seoul.

This award recognizes BPA's various initiatives aimed at realizing the value of win-win growth and fostering mutual cooperation with the local community. Following last year's Presidential Commendation, BPA has now received a government award for the second consecutive year, this time from the Minister of SMEs and Startups.

BPA has continuously promoted projects to strengthen the capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by utilizing the win-win growth fund. These initiatives include supporting the transition to smart factories and ICT, assisting partner SMEs in developing domestic and international sales channels, and providing specialized support for port-related companies. In addition, to address management, economic, environmental, and social issues, BPA has achieved tangible results through initiatives such as enhancing ESG response capabilities among partners, supporting the establishment of infrastructure to prevent technology leaks from SMEs, and improving working conditions.

This year, in line with national policy tasks, BPA expanded its community partnership efforts by improving tourism infrastructure in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions, supporting fishing village experience resorts, and participating in the 'Eobok Bus' project, which provides medical, daily life, and administrative services to residents of islands and fishing villages.

Song Sangkeun, President of BPA, stated, "It is meaningful to be able to contribute to SMEs and the local community through win-win growth initiatives," and added, "As a public institution leading ESG management, we will further strengthen the foundation for win-win growth."
