PKF Seohyun Accounting Firm announced on November 26 that it has recruited partners Hyo-Seok Han, Se-Bong Heo, and Ha-Gyun Kim to strengthen its expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and to enhance the quality of its services in the energy and construction sectors.

Partner Hyo-Seok Han is a key leader in the M&A advisory market. At EY Han Young Accounting Firm, he served as Head of the Strategic Financial Advisory Division and Head of the Financial Advisory Division, overseeing all M&A operations. With over 20 years of experience in the M&A market, he has worked with large corporations, private equity funds, and mid-sized companies, building a track record of successful corporate growth and restructuring through financial advisory services.

Partner Se-Bong Heo is an expert in the energy sector. At Samjong Accounting Firm, he served as Head of the Industrial Market Division, leading audit and accounting advisory services for numerous energy companies, including Korea Electric Power Corporation and major oil refining companies. Heo also gained two years of experience in US accounting audits at the KPMG US Silicon Valley office. Domestically, he has served as a member of the K-IFRS Inquiry and Response Joint Committee, a non-standing member of the Korea Accounting Standards Board, and a member of the Internal Accounting Management System Operations Committee, establishing himself as an expert in K-IFRS and SOX.

Partner Ha-Gyun Kim is an expert in accounting audits and financial consulting for the construction, healthcare, and public sectors. At Samjong Accounting Firm, he successfully led audit and consulting services in infrastructure areas such as construction and aviation, healthcare sectors including pharmaceuticals and hospitals, and the public sector including government agencies. Additionally, he has contributed to accounting transparency and financial advancement in the public sector by serving as a management evaluation committee member for public enterprises at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and as a citizen integrity auditor for numerous public institutions.
