15th Consecutive Award This Year
Also Received the Sustainability Report Award
Yuhan-Kimberly announced on November 26 that it received first place in the household goods category and was awarded the Sustainability Report Award in the manufacturing sector at the 2025 Korea Sustainability Conference.
The Korea Sustainability Conference is organized by the Korean Standards Association and annually recognizes outstanding companies based on the Korea Sustainability Index (KSI) and the Korea Sustainability Report Award (KRCA).
The KSI evaluates the sustainability level of domestic companies by identifying key issues for each industry through stakeholder surveys and analysis of disclosure topics, based on ISO 26000, the international standard for corporate social responsibility. The KRCA is a model that examines all sustainability reports published in Korea, based on the eight reporting principles of the global disclosure guideline GRI.
According to the results of this year’s sustainability index evaluation, which covered 213 companies across 50 industries, Yuhan-Kimberly ranked first in the household goods industry for the 15th consecutive year. The 2024 Yuhan-Kimberly Sustainability Report, titled "People Are Hope," was also selected as an outstanding report in the manufacturing sector, marking the company’s 14th consecutive award in this category.
Yuhan-Kimberly has made sustainable management, including environmental management and social responsibility management, a core management value and has put it into practice. Notably, through its "Our Green Mountains, Greener and Greener" campaign, the longest-running public forest environmental campaign in Korea, the company has planted and nurtured over 57 million trees both domestically and internationally over the past 42 years, widely promoting the value of forests.
A Yuhan-Kimberly ESG official commented, "The core value of sustainable management is embedded in the foundation of Yuhan-Kimberly’s competitiveness and corporate culture," and added, "We will continue to listen to the expectations of various stakeholders and pursue harmonious growth for the company, society, and the environment."
