13 Systems to Be Restored at Daegu Center
"Expedited Recovery to Be Completed by Year-End"
On November 14, marking the 50th day since the fire at the National Information Resources Service, all administrative information systems undergoing restoration at the Daejeon Center have been fully normalized.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that, as of 11:00 a.m. on this day, all 696 systems scheduled for restoration at the Daejeon Center have been fully recovered.
With the restoration of the Personal Information Protection Commission’s main website on this day, the recovery was completed one week ahead of the originally targeted date of November 20.
As a result, the overall recovery rate of national information resource systems has reached 98.2%. Specifically, Grade 1 systems are at 100%, Grade 2 at 98.5%, Grade 3 at 98.5%, and Grade 4 at 97.6%.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety stated, "We will expedite the restoration of the remaining 13 systems, which are being relocated and recovered at the Daegu Center, aiming to complete the process by the end of the year."
