BNK Financial Group has once again clearly demonstrated the direction of its organizational culture.
BNK Financial Holdings, along with BNK Capital and BNK Securities, simultaneously obtained the international standard anti-bribery management system certification 'ISO 37001' from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR).

The fact that major affiliates within the same group received certification at the same time goes beyond simply introducing a system; it is also evidence that the group has established a sophisticated internal control framework across its entire organization.
ISO 37001 is a global standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that comprehensively evaluates an organization’s ability to prevent, monitor, and respond to corruption. It broadly examines whether internal control processes are documented, whether employee training is systematically conducted, and whether there are mechanisms in place to detect risks at an early stage. In simple terms, it is an international norm that verifies how effectively a system blocks the possibility of corruption.
During this certification process, BNK Financial Group proactively identified corruption risk factors at the company-wide level and reorganized its control procedures. In particular, the group focused on enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls by strengthening compliance training for employees and upgrading its whistleblowing system. As a result, BNK has been officially recognized not just as a regional financial group, but as an organization with a global-standard integrity management system.
Choi Myunghee, Compliance Officer at BNK Financial Holdings, stated, "The ISO 37001 certification is the result of BNK Financial Group’s ongoing efforts to practice 'sound management' as a core value," and added, "We will further strengthen our ethical and compliance culture, which values integrity and trust, to establish ourselves as a financial group trusted by both financial consumers and the local community."
BNK Financial Group has already established dedicated ethics management departments in all its affiliates and has institutionalized regular employee training. The group has also continuously expanded organizational culture improvement programs, such as operating a holiday gift-sharing center, to further reinforce the practical implementation of its internal control system.
