Jindo County in South Jeolla Province has successfully concluded the third session of the "Happy Bobaeseom Mothers' Gathering," operated by its Integrated Childbirth Support Center.
This program was designed to provide rest and comfort to mothers exhausted from pregnancy and childcare, and to help them continue raising their children with a healthy mindset.
The third session featured experience-based programs where mothers and children could empathize and learn together. Activities included learning about book-based parenting methods, prenatal and postnatal health education, flower arrangement classes, making car key wallets, creating natural aroma oils, baby massage, sensory play, and hands-on training in infant Heimlich maneuver techniques.
On the final day, participants visited the Jindo Dog Theme Park Arirang Botanical Garden to appreciate chrysanthemums and relieve parenting stress through a "Happiness Draw" event, while encouraging one another.
One participant shared, "It was a valuable time to share parenting concerns with fellow mothers and encourage each other."
A Jindo County official stated, "This was a meaningful program that helped mothers raise their children with a healthy mind," adding, "We will continue to operate various activities where parents and children can grow and find happiness together."
