Daejeon Pavilion to Be Operated at "2025 Space Tech Expo Europe"
A platform is being created for Daejeon-based space companies to directly showcase their technological competitiveness in the European market.
Daejeon Technopark will operate the "Daejeon Pavilion" at the "2025 Space Tech Expo Europe," which will be held in Bremen, Germany from November 18 to 20, as part of its efforts to target the European space market.
"Space Tech Expo Europe," which has been held since 2015, is the largest B2B exhibition for the space industry in Europe. Every year, more than 800 companies involved in space-related technologies and supply chains, along with over 10,000 global participants, gather to introduce the latest space technologies, including satellite manufacturing, launch vehicles, and ground equipment.
This participation is part of the "2025 Global Leading Space Companies Development Project" promoted by Daejeon Metropolitan City and Daejeon Technopark, aimed at supporting the global expansion of local space companies.
Furthermore, participation in the exhibition in Germany serves as a follow-up step to expand the achievements made at the "International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2025)" held in Sydney, Australia in October, into the European market.
At that time, Daejeon City signed export consultations and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) totaling 15 billion won, and established cooperation with major overseas organizations such as Geoimage, an Australian satellite data analysis company; BAE Systems, a global defense company; and Space Machines Company, a space operations service provider.
Building on these achievements, Daejeon-based space companies will directly demonstrate their technological competitiveness in the European market at this exhibition.
Five Daejeon space companies-Leospace, XMW, MID, Intergravity Technologies, and Telepix-will participate in the Daejeon Pavilion to showcase their core technologies and solutions.
In addition, three other Daejeon companies-Darlo Aerospace, IOPS, and Contech-will participate either at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) joint booth or with their own booths.
Daejeon Technopark, in cooperation with Daejeon City, plans to actively promote corporate technologies, conduct buyer consultations, and hold meetings with global organizations to accelerate the expansion of local networks in Europe. Through these efforts, the global advancement of the regional space industry ecosystem will be supported.
Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "The Daejeon Pavilion is not just an exhibition, but a starting point for establishing strategic connections with the European space market. Together with Daejeon City, we will expand the global networks secured at IAC into Europe, actively supporting Daejeon space companies to connect with international supply chains and secure new business opportunities."
