"I Forgot My Admission Ticket"... South Gyeongsang Police Provide Swift Assistance to Anxious Test Takers

On the day of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test, November 13, several candidates in South Gyeongsang Province who had forgotten their admission tickets or were at risk of being late were able to enter their test sites safely with the help of the police.

According to the South Gyeongsang Provincial Police Agency, at around 7:32 a.m. that day, a candidate at Jinhae Jungang High School in Jinhae District, Changwon, realized belatedly that they had not brought their admission ticket.

After receiving a request for help from the candidate's mother, the police quickly went to the candidate's home, collected the admission ticket, and delivered it to the candidate.

At around 7:40 a.m., a candidate heading from the Sinwol Police Box in Seongsan District, Changwon, to Changwon Jungang Girls' High School requested police assistance because they could not find a taxi, and the police helped the candidate enter the test site.

Earlier, at around 6:59 a.m., a candidate near the Jungang Security Center in Uichang District, Changwon, who needed to get to Changwon Daam High School, expressed concern about being late, prompting the police to provide emergency transportation.

In addition, as of 8:30 a.m., when all candidates had entered their test sites, a total of 20 calls related to the exam-including reports of traffic congestion and requests for transportation-had been received through the 112 emergency hotline.

On this day, a total of 32,955 candidates took the exam in South Gyeongsang Province. The test was administered at 1,277 general test sites across 105 schools in the province.
