The South Korean national football team will play a friendly match against Bolivia at Daejeon World Cup Stadium at 8 p.m. on November 14.

This match is an important evaluation game held as part of preparations for the 2026 North and Central America World Cup finals, providing an opportunity to assess the national team’s strength against Bolivia, a strong team from South America.

Daejeon City plans to use this match to once again reinforce its reputation as the “Special Football City of Daejeon” throughout the country.

With around 40,000 spectators expected to gather on the day of the match, the city is making every effort to create a safe environment inside and outside the stadium by increasing subway service and coordinating with relevant agencies such as fire, police, and medical institutions.

In addition, as traffic congestion is expected around the stadium, the city has strongly encouraged citizens to use public transportation.

Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, stated, “We will once again create a wave of passionate support for the national team in Daejeon, where we shared the excitement of reaching the Round of 16 in the 2002 World Cup,” adding, “We will do our utmost to ensure that all spectators can cheer in a safe and pleasant environment.”
