At the conference, the integrated social contribution platform developed by the Community Chest of Korea, the 'Community Chest of Korea Social Contribution Information Platform,' was unveiled for the first time. This platform is a private-sector integrated social contribution platform that allows users to view the current status and key data of corporate social contribution at a glance, while also providing comprehensive information and analysis on various domestic and international trends in social contribution.
The platform integrates authoritative data such as corporate donation reports from the National Tax Service, electronic disclosures from the Financial Supervisory Service (DART), and management disclosures from public institutions (ALIO), along with donor and beneficiary institution data from the Community Chest of Korea. Through this, users can access ▲the social contribution status of over 1,000 organizations ▲information and support details of more than 5,000 nonprofit partner institutions nationwide that have received over 10 million KRW from the Community Chest of Korea ▲details of designated donation projects by the Community Chest of Korea ▲the status of distribution projects by topic and region, all at a glance, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the entire social contribution process.
Kim Byungjun, Chairman of the Community Chest of Korea, added, "As a corporate social contribution partner and a hub for solving social issues, the Community Chest of Korea will connect and transparently share the flow of social contribution through data using this new information platform."
The Community Chest of Korea Social Contribution Information Platform (https://csrhub.chest.or.kr) is open to all users and will be in a pilot phase throughout November to gather user feedback, with the official launch scheduled for December. Going forward, by gradually opening and sharing social contribution data, it is expected to establish itself as a new standard for social contribution in Korea.
