On November 12, Daijin Advanced Materials, a global advanced materials specialist, stated regarding the investigation into the alleged 'technology leak' that "the major shareholder and the corporation are not directly involved in the matter."
Daijin Advanced Materials explained, "The major shareholder has consistently worked for many years to improve domestic technological capabilities and pioneer overseas markets, contributing to strengthening the global competitiveness of Korea's materials manufacturing industry. We deeply regret that the company and the major shareholder have become embroiled in unnecessary controversy due to some misunderstandings related to this investigation."
The 'Cap Ass'y technology for prismatic batteries' of KEM Tech, which has been mentioned as a key issue in this case, was officially reviewed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and confirmed as "not classified as national core technology or advanced technology."
Daijin Advanced Materials stated, "We plan to cooperate faithfully with the ongoing procedures and expect that the facts will be clearly established," adding, "We are making every effort to ensure that this case does not have any unnecessary impact on the company's normal business operations."
The company further added, "Our business is currently operating normally, and there are no grounds for trading suspension or delisting. We will continue to maintain market trust through transparent disclosures and diligent management activities."
Daijin Advanced Materials is expanding its business by applying its proprietary patented materials to various industries. The company explained that this issue is entirely separate and has no direct connection to its business activities.
A company representative said, "We will actively engage in all procedures and work to restore corporate trust so that investors and industry stakeholders do not feel uneasy."
