Toss Securities announced on the 12th that it has launched "AI Signal," a market analysis service powered by artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Through this service, Toss Securities aims to help individual investors gain high-level access to information and a deeper understanding of the market amid the overwhelming amount of investment data.
"AI Signal" analyzes news and disclosure data using AI to identify the reasons behind market fluctuations in real time. It provides key summaries explaining the causes of price changes in industries that customers either hold or are interested in. In addition, it presents the relationships between relevant industries and issues, enabling investors to grasp market trends at a glance.
Toss Securities has enhanced the technological sophistication of this service by applying three proprietary AI technologies: news classification, translation, and reasoning. First, the news classification model selects information that has impacted the market from thousands of news articles and disclosures each day and automatically categorizes them by industry. The proprietary translation model, specialized for financial terminology and numerical data, quickly and accurately interprets overseas news and disclosures.
In particular, the reasoning technology applied to this service allows AI to compare and verify information from various sources and logically infer the causes of stock price fluctuations. For example, when asked, "Why did a particular industry rise?" the system provides concrete interpretations such as "due to supply chain recovery and expectations of improved earnings," while also verifying the reliability of the evidence and the accuracy of the figures.
A representative from Toss Securities stated, "We expect this service to help investors reduce the fatigue of information searching amid the flood of data and to enhance their understanding of market trends," adding, "We will continue to focus on advancing our AI technology to create an environment where customers can take control of their investment decisions."
AI Signal is the second AI-based service introduced by Toss Securities, following the real-time translation service for overseas company earnings calls launched in May. The service can be accessed through the "Favorites" tab on the Toss Securities Mobile Trading System (MTS).
