The "2025 Jirisan Hamyang Market Customer Appreciation Singer King Contest" will be held on November 17 at the Jirisan Hamyang Market area.

This event has been organized to highlight the unique characteristics of the traditional market through the participation of local residents and to express gratitude to customers visiting the market.

The event will take place at Parking Lot 1 of Jirisan Hamyang Market from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., featuring a variety of programs for visitors. The highlight is the Singer King Contest for Hamyang County residents, where participants will compete in singing and receive awards in various categories. Prizes will be given in five categories: Grand Prize (400,000 KRW), Excellence Award (300,000 KRW), Merit Award (200,000 KRW), Encouragement Award (100,000 KRW), and Popularity Award (100,000 KRW).

In addition, there will be special performances by local singers who serve as ambassadors for Jirisan Hamyang Market, including Kim Jeongman, Lim Sunnam, Lim Myeonghui, Jeong Yugun, and Na Hyeonjae. These artists will help showcase the vibrant atmosphere of the traditional market and local culture, offering visitors a unique musical experience.

The event will also feature a prize drawing for a variety of items, including wild ginseng, Korean beef, fruit, bedding, kitchenware, and daily necessities. The prize drawing will take place alongside performances by local singers, with an abundance of gifts awaiting visitors. This is expected to bring a bit of luck to customers and play an important role in encouraging spending at the market.
