Supporting Housing Welfare for the Vulnerable
Volunteer Activities Including Tree Planting for Urban Forests

On November 12, SGI Seoul Guarantee announced that it is taking the lead in spreading the value of mutual growth through social contribution activities centered around its employees.

Based on its social contribution brand "SGI ON," launched in 2021, Seoul Guarantee is actively engaged in a variety of social contribution initiatives. As a growth partner for future generations, the company supports children from vulnerable groups by providing medical and housing expenses, establishing itself as a pillar for the growth of future generations.

In the area of medical support, the company provides comprehensive and practical assistance to children, such as covering treatment costs for those with leukemia and pediatric cancer, as well as providing blood donation certificates and funding for wig production.

In the field of education, Seoul Guarantee has donated 180 million won to provide scholarships and living expenses for underprivileged youths and university students leaving childcare facilities. The company has also supplied laptops to local elementary schools in Jakarta and Hanoi, where its overseas offices are located.

In the area of housing, Seoul Guarantee is participating in the Seoul Housing Safety Companion public-private partnership project to address blind spots in housing welfare, sponsoring 150 million won for construction and material costs. The company continues to carry out customized projects to improve residential environments, such as enhancing facilities at local children's centers and group homes.

As a partner in shared growth, employees serve as a focal point in promoting a culture of coexistence and sharing with neighbors. Employees have voluntarily organized the "SGI Dream Partners" volunteer group and are engaged in a variety of volunteer activities. Since its launch in 2016, SGI Dream Partners recorded a cumulative total of 2,219 participants and 11,400 volunteer hours through 2024.

The group focuses on environmental activities such as tree planting for urban forests and beach clean-ups at Silmido. They also engage in non-face-to-face activities, including donating solar-powered lanterns assembled by members and producing upcycled card wallets.

Employees also contribute to environmental protection in their daily lives by using bicycles and stairs, and by using mugs and tumblers. The points they accumulate from these activities, matched with company donations, are given to environmental organizations, thereby sharing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values both inside and outside the company.

As a partner for mutual growth, Seoul Guarantee collaborates with various external organizations to support promising companies. The company is committed to building a cooperative business ecosystem by providing guarantees to exporting small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and local SMEs.

Lee Myungsoon, CEO of Seoul Guarantee, stated, "Based on our vision of 'WITH SGI,' which aims for growth together with various stakeholders, Seoul Guarantee is dedicated to realizing social value and pursuing mutual growth management. We will continue to carry out diverse social contribution activities that provide practical assistance to vulnerable groups."
