Second-Half Event Runs from November 13 to 19
Largest Event Ever with Exceptional Discounts
Emart announced on November 12 that it will hold its semiannual wine market event from November 13 to 19.
Now in its 18th year, the Emart Wine Market is a regular event held twice a year, in the first and second half, offering popular brand wines at exceptional prices. This time, customers can find products priced lower than both the prices at the first-half event and the average prices overseas.
Featured items include 'Mollydooker The Boxer (750ml/Australia),' which is available for 34,400 won when using the event card, 4,640 won cheaper than the 39,040 won price at the May event. 'B&G Thomas Barton Reserve Margaux (750ml/France)' is available for 39,840 won, and 'Two Hands Hopes & Dreams (750ml/Australia)' can be purchased for 27,840 won.
For white and sparkling wines, Emart is introducing a wide selection of new wines rarely seen in Korea, along with a 30% discount. New arrivals such as 'Meander Dashbosch Steen (750ml/South Africa)' and the Emart-exclusive 'Frescobaldi Attems Cicinis 2023 (750ml/Italy)' are offered at 24,500 won and 48,860 won, respectively, with a 30% discount when paying with the event card.
There are also "Happiness for 10,000 Won" wines. Notably, 'Dugessa Lia Piemonte Brachetto (750ml/Italy)' and 'Maris Julie (750ml/France)' are each sold for 9,900 won, which is lower than their respective overseas average prices of 17,052 won and 24,631 won.
Special daily deals will also be available. On November 13, 'Chateau Talbot 2020 (750ml/France)' will be offered at a special price of 99,900 won, and a two-bottle set perfect for year-end gatherings-'Robert Mondavi Napa Cabernet Sauvignon + Two Hands Angels' Share (each 750ml/USA+Australia)'-will also be available for 99,900 won.
On the weekend of November 15-16, 'Bread & Butter Merlot (750ml/USA)' can be purchased for 25,800 won when accumulating Shinsegae Points. From November 17 to 19, a special promotion allows customers to select any three bottles from a lineup of 20 wines for just 20,000 won, also with Shinsegae Points.
Through the 'Wine Grab' service on the Emart application (app), customers can access a variety of premium products that are hard to find in stores. Wine Grab allows users to select a pickup date and store through the Emart app and purchase products in advance. Among the highlighted items are three vintages (2003, 2006, 2007) of 'Petrus (750ml/France),' known as the 'legend of Bordeaux Pomerol' and highly sought after by top collectors worldwide, priced at 11.8 million won, 9.7 million won, and 9.9 million won, respectively. 'Domaine Leroy Romanee Saint Vivant 2014 (750ml/France),' reflecting the philosophy of the 'top producer in Burgundy,' Leroy, is available for 24 million won.
Go Ara, Emart's liquor buyer, stated, "Despite the ongoing high exchange rate, we are able to offer reasonable prices thanks to Emart's negotiation know-how and buying power. Through the Emart Wine Market, where customers can purchase a variety of wines at affordable prices, we hope everyone enjoys a delightful year-end season while experiencing the charm of wine."
