Im Jinhee Seeks Redemption: "This Time, It's Victory"

Runner-up by Three Strokes at Last Year's The Annika Driven
First Career Victory with Lee Somi at the Dow Championship in June
Currently Ranked 15th in CME Points and 25th on the Money List This Year

Im Jinhee, now in her second year on the LPGA Tour, is aiming for redemption.

From November 13 (local time), she will compete for victory at the LPGA Tour's The Annika Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, held over four days at Pelican Golf Club (par 70, 6,349 yards) in Belleair, Florida, United States. The LPGA Tour has only this event and the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship remaining.

The Annika Driven is a tournament hosted by the legendary Annika Sorenstam, who has 72 LPGA Tour victories. The event began as the Pelican Women's Championship in 2020, and Sorenstam took over as host in 2023, giving the tournament its current name.

Im Jinhee is a player who recorded six career wins on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour before finishing 17th at the 2023 LPGA Qualifying (Q) School, earning her debut on the LPGA Tour last year. Although she did not win a title, she made the cut in 21 out of 24 LPGA Tour events last year.

Last November, she made her mark at The Annika Driven. Although she finished three shots behind champion Nelly Korda of the United States, she achieved her best result as a runner-up in her rookie year. She finished in the top 10 six times and competed with Mao Saigo of Japan for the Rookie of the Year title until the end of the season. Im Jinhee finished second for Rookie of the Year with 873 points, following Saigo, who had 959 points.

This year, Im Jinhee continues to deliver consistent results. In June, she teamed up with Lee Somi to claim her first career victory at the Dow Championship, a two-player team event. She has played in 25 tournaments this year and finished in the top 5 five times, demonstrating remarkable consistency. Im Jinhee is determined to lift her second career trophy at the course where she finished runner-up last year.
