"AI Practical Techniques Training for Office Workers"

The Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Yoon Jaeho) held the "AI Practical Techniques Training for Office Workers" on November 7, 2025, from 09:30 to 17:30 in the main conference room on the first floor of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A total of 26 employees from companies in the Gumi area attended the event.

This training is a joint initiative by the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In collaboration with global AI leaders such as Microsoft, SK, and KT, the program focused on strengthening the AI technology capabilities of employees at small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling them to immediately apply these skills to their work.

The curriculum was practical and included: ▲Understanding Generative AI ▲AI usage methods and prompt practice ▲Office document creation practice ▲Utilizing various AI tools. Participants also engaged in hands-on exercises for team collaboration and document automation using ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot (including Teams and SharePoint).

Shim Gyujeong, Team Leader at the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "Smart work innovation using AI is now an essential competency, not a choice. We hope this training will serve as an opportunity for employees of local companies to actively adopt AI in their work and enhance productivity."

Meanwhile, the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to hold a follow-up course titled "Practical AI Applications for Management Support Teams" on November 14, 2025.
