Hanmi Semiconductor Unveils Wide TC Bonder Procession Painting

On November 7, Hanmi Semiconductor announced that it is launching differentiated marketing by producing the "Wide TC Bonder Procession Painting," featuring its next-generation core equipment, the Wide TC BONDER, as the main subject.

Hanmi Semiconductor has given a modern reinterpretation to the traditional Korean painting "Haengryeoldo," which depicts royal processions from the Joseon Dynasty. This new artwork symbolically expresses the significance of the Wide TC BONDER in the HBM production process, which is central to AI semiconductors, by placing the equipment at the heart of a procession.

Additionally, the design of the Wide TC BONDER incorporates the "Celadon Green" color, inspired by Korean celadon, to evoke the feel of East Asian painting and enhance the artwork's quality. The Wide TC Bonder Procession Painting was created by three artists specializing in mural art from Design SangSang, a leading Korean mural company: Oh Youngsik, Yang Mirang, and Oh Eunhwa.

A Hanmi Semiconductor representative explained, "Through the procession painting, we aimed to artistically express our pride in the TC BONDER being at the center of the HBM production process."

The TC BONDER is essential equipment for manufacturing HBM for AI semiconductors. Hanmi Semiconductor holds the top global market share for TC Bonders used in HBM production. Since 2002, the company has focused on strengthening its intellectual property, having filed over 120 patents related to HBM equipment to date.

The main subject of the artwork, the Wide TC BONDER, expands the DRAM die area to support greater memory capacity and faster data processing. It is a next-generation device for producing "Wide HBM" chips and will be released at the end of next year.

Hanmi Semiconductor is strengthening its marketing efforts to build a new brand image. In August, the company announced plans to unveil an artwork collaboration with world-renowned pop artist Philip Colbert.

The Wide TC Bonder Procession Painting will be used in various marketing activities, including exhibitions and advertisements, and will also be produced as digital content.

Design SangSang, which was responsible for Hanmi Semiconductor's Wide TC Bonder Procession Painting, is a leading Korean mural company that has completed numerous mural projects for organizations such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Suwon City, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Korea District Heating Corporation, National Fire Agency, and Korea Forest Service.
