Through this agreement, both labor and management have pledged to establish a mutually beneficial labor-management culture based on mutual trust, strengthen communication and cooperation to create a healthy working environment, and continue joint efforts to advance the organization and improve employee welfare. In addition, they agreed to resolve conflicts through dialogue and consultation under the principle of mutual respect, and to create a workplace that grows together based on the spirit of the agreement. The agreement was jointly signed by Chairman Jeong Jaegwan and Union Leader Kim Dongseok.

Chairman Jeong stated, “In a changing business environment, I believe that the most important thing is the ‘power of going together,’ and I will take the lead in establishing a mutually beneficial labor-management culture based on mutual trust. Starting with this agreement, the Military Mutual Aid Association will become a workplace where coming to work is a joy, as labor and management unite to achieve the vision of ‘Members First Management.’”

Union Leader Kim remarked, “The Military Mutual Aid Association labor union, launched for the first time in 41 years since our founding, will protect the rights and interests of union members with a spirit of cooperation, while also working harder and collaborating for the development of the association. As a ‘global investment specialist institution,’ the Military Mutual Aid Association and its labor union will continue to do their part to provide even greater welfare benefits to our members.”

With this agreement as a starting point, the Military Mutual Aid Association plans to activate regular communication channels between labor and management and to promote a variety of programs aimed at spreading a culture of mutual benefit throughout the organization.
