183 Future Nurses Pledge Dedication
with the Spirit of Love and Service
The Department of Nursing at Gyeongnam College of Information, known as "Busan's representative community college," recently held the 15th Nightingale Pledge Ceremony at the Mirae Hall Convention Center on campus.
At the ceremony, 183 second-year nursing students participated, vowing to carry on the noble spirit of Nightingale and to grow into nurses who dedicate themselves with love and a spirit of service.
Through the candle lighting ceremony, the pledging students symbolically reaffirmed the mission and responsibility of nurses, firmly resolving to become nurses who serve patients and society.
Jung Kyungsoon, head of the Department of Nursing, encouraged the students, saying, "The Nightingale Pledge Ceremony is a meaningful occasion to reflect on the role of nurses and the value of respecting life. I hope you will grow into outstanding nursing professionals who contribute to the local community with both expertise and a warm heart."
