Samsung Electronics announced on November 6 that it will hold the 'Samsung Tech Conference 2025 (STC 2025)' online on November 20. Registration for participation is available on the official website starting today.
'STC 2025' serves as an open platform for technology sharing, providing participants with broad insights through exchanges on a wide range of technologies, from advanced technologies to security technologies.
Jeon Kyunghoon, President and CTO of the DX Division at Samsung Electronics and Head of Samsung Research, will deliver a welcome address outlining the future direction of technology and industry led by AI.
Various sessions will also share key technologies and visions for a successful transition into the 'AI Transformation (AX)' era. The keynote speeches will introduce AI-based robot control technology (by Kwon Junghyun, Executive Vice President at Samsung Research, Samsung Electronics), the Tizen operating system integrated with intelligence features (by Kwon Hobum, Executive Vice President at Samsung Research), agent technology for enhancing AI work productivity (by Kim Sangha, Executive Vice President at Samsung Research), and AI-powered security innovation technology (by Hwang Yongho, Executive Vice President at Samsung Research). Jim Zemlin, Chairman of the Linux Foundation, will present on 'Trends in the Latest Open Source AI Technologies.'
The technical sessions will showcase more than 40 major research achievements of Samsung Electronics, including case studies on improving work productivity using generative AI, applications of AI technology in products, AI-based automatic detection and patching of security code vulnerabilities, optimization of communication systems using AI, personalized services for SmartThings users, the Samsung Health SDK, and the application of AI in Samsung Wallet technology.
Jung Jinmin, Vice President and Head of the Software Innovation Center at Samsung Research, stated, "Through STC 2025, Samsung Electronics will present a vision for the AX era, where AI redefines everything, and plans to discuss a wide range of knowledge to grow together with technology experts."
